DAY1:ARRIVE HANOI: On arrival at Noi Bai Airport, you will be met and
transferred to your hotel. After a welcome drink and tour briefing enjoy a
performance of Viet Nam’s unique traditional Water Puppetry.
DAY 2 HA NOI Tour President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and humble House
on Stilts, the One Pillar Pagoda and Temple of Literature, followed by a tour
of the Museum of Ethnology and Hoa Lo Prison Museum. Enjoy a quiet time
sitting having a coffee beside Hoan Kiem Lake before exploring Ha Noi’s
Old uarter on your own.
DAY 3 HA NOI - HA LONG BAY Travel to Ha Long Bay and board your boat
where a sumptuous seafood feast awaits. Cruising amongst the limestone karsts
stop and explore the wondrous caves. In late afternoon head back to the
mainland and drive to your hotel nearby for an overnight stay.
DAY 4 HA LONG BAY - HA NOI – HUE After breakfast journey to Ha Noi,
stopping at Dong Trieu ceramic village to discover the secrets of traditional
ceramic craftsmanship. Then travel directly to Noi Bai Airport for your
flight to Hue where the evening is free for you to explore this city at your
own pace.
DAY 5 HUE - DA NANG - HOI AN Explore the Imperial Citadel, bustling
Dong Ba Market and cruise on the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda and on to
visit the tomb of King Ming Mang. Later drive to Da Nang and on to Hoi An,
the former flourishing trading port with its old traditional houses and
meeting halls.
DAY 6 HOI AN Walking through the historic Hoi An you will admire the
narrow lanes of centuries old buildings; visit the town’s market and the
impressive Japanese covered bridge. Afternoon is free to explore this
charming town or having a swim at the beautiful Cua Dai Beach.
DAY 7 HOI AN - HO CHI MINH CITY Leaving Hoi An, make a stop at the
Marble Mountains and discover pagodas, caves and a beautiful vista over the
surrounding country side. You also visit the Cham Museum and its fascinating
sculpture before flying on to Ho Chi Minh City. The rest of the day is free
at leisure.
DAY 8 HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI TUNNELS Visit the wholesale market and
opulent pagodas of Cho Lon, followed by a stop at the Notre Dame Cathedral
and the city’s other landmarks. In the afternoon travel to explore the
underground tunnel network at Cu Chi before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
DAY 9 HO CHI MINH CITY – MEKONG DELTA Heading south to My Tho board
your boat to cross the impressive Mekong and navigate the leafy island
waterways to a local fruit orchard for exploration, where you will sample
tropical fruit and learn about the Delta’s way of life.
DAY 10 DEPART HO CHI MINH CITY You are free to do some last minute
shopping before transferring to Ho Chi Minh City airport. Return to main VIETNAM PAGE
