Shanghai is the essence of modern China. From the elegant" Paris of the East" to spectacular skyscrapers and towers China's past,present and future in one amazing metropolis.You can still find areas of delightful peace and quiet with narrow backstreets,lively markets and old traditions.    3 /NIGHTS.

DAY to DAY ITINERARY

DAY 1. Depart from London by own arrangements.

DAY 2. On arrival meet and transfer to the hotel for 3 nights.In the afternoon visit the Temple of Heaven and in the evening enjoy a welcome dinner   /D

DAY 3. Morning visit to Tiananmen Square,The Forbidden City and after lunch continue to visit the Summer Palace B/L/D

DAY 4. Full day visit to the Great Wall at Badaling and in the afternoon continue to the Sacred Way of the Ming Tombs.Return to Beijing and in the evening we have arranged a special Beijing Duck dinner.   B/L/D

DAY 5. After checking out the hotel we have a morning visit to the Beijing Hutongs on rickshaw,stop by a local school and visit a family for lunch.Later we transfer to the airport for the flight to Xian.A short city orientation tour before transferring to the hotel for a 3 night stay.   B/L/D

DAY 6. Today we have a visit to the Terracotta Warriors site and,after lunch,before returning to Xian we make a visit to Hua Qing Hot Springs Palace. In the evening we have arranged a special dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty cultural show. (included)   B/L/D.

DAY 7. Morning city tour of Xian including the ancient city wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.In the afternoon we have some fre

e time to explore the Bell & Drum tower areas and the local muslim quarter.  B/L/D

DAY 8. Morning transfer to Xian airport for the flight to Shanghai.  On arrival we visit the Jade Budda temple,Yuyuan Gardens and the Bund. We then transfer to the hotel for 3 nights. In the evening enjoy the spectacular Shanghai acrobatic show.   B/L/D

DAY 9.  Today we have a full day visit to the ancient water town of Wuzhen. Full of criss-cross waterways and traditional buildings. After lunch we visit some fascinating buildings and enjoy some free time exploring ancient Wuzhen before returning to Shanghai.     B/L/D

DAY 10. Free day to explore Shanghai.   In the evening we have a farewell dinner at the Peace Hotel.    B/D
